The Tug McGraw Foundation
This video was prepared by Jennifer Brusstar, vice
president of the Tug McGraw Foundation, as an introduction to the life
of celebrated pitcher Tug McGraw and to the foundation established in
his memory.
Mission Statement
The Tug McGraw Foundation has been established to raise funds
for pioneering brain cancer research, to support collegiate athletes with
leadership potential to carry on Tug's "Ya Gotta Believe" spirit
and to raise public awareness of the disease of brain cancer. Over 200,000
adults and children annually live with a diagnosis of brain cancer and
the mission of the Foundation is to move science forward to improve their
quality of life in the critical physical, social, spiritual and cognitive
areas.
